Today again we had some very strong storms with wind hail and a couple of reported tornado’s I was out in the worst of the storm but I did not see any damage. It looks like the damage went to our north and missed our part of town, for that I am very glad. We have had a lot of rain with hail and strong winds this year, I hope we make it through the spring storm season and get to hurricanes which make it rain a whole lot here, we do not get a lot of wind with the storms from the burned out hurricanes just a whole lot of rain.
Now do not get me wrong I have been in some very big crowds and loved it but as I have gotten older I tend to stay away from large crowds and that is one thing that I do not see changing any time soon. I have passed up some very nice tickets just because of the crowds and I will keep passing on those shows with big crowds. I was for one glad to see Starwood close, the wait to get in and out took forever and I do not wait to good as the old saying goes.
Man am I ever glad to get out of April and get started with June. Last month was so wet and we had so many storms it was plain crazy. I heard where we were 4 inches of rain over what we normally get for the month and more rain in the forecast, I guess that the drought is over for now any way. Lets hope we get some sun shine and get the wet and storms out of our lives for a few days anyway.
The new Terminator movie has come out but I for one find it lacking if the Terminator himself is not in the movie. Arnold has made the Terminator series and it is just not the same without him. I heard that he will be in the next one when he is no longer Govenor of California. I know he is a better actor than a Govenor so we should welcome him back to the silver screen when he is gone ruining California. I think the Terminator series was good for Arnold and Arnold was very good for the Terminator. I can not wait for him to be back in the role.
My mom has run our family bar business since I can remember, and she finally got into the new century and added Direct TV to the bar. Business has picked up and more and more people are coming in to the bar to watch big sporting events and just like I told mom the business has picked up and will pay for adding the Direct TV for business, that is the perfect plan for our business and many others just like it. I like the Direct TV business plan it allows us to make some money on the added customers that come in for the Direct TV business plan.
For years we had plain old cable and a few people came in to watch TV but since we added the Direct TV business plan our TV watching business has doubled. I even come from home when a big event is on TV, watching it on the big screen at the bar is better than watching it at home, and I get to have my mom cook my dinner and she loves that I am there and not at home so every one wins with the new Direct TV plan we added to the family bar this year.
